A gift that hit the mark
I gave the light wood one as a housewarming present and ordered another one for us the following week.

The ceiling light makes everything equally bright. Cora does the opposite: a warm glow at table height, from a lamp that is as much an object as a light source.
The light comes from the white belly and settles as a soft circle on the table, while the rest of the room stays darker. Place it on the windowsill, the bedside table or the hallway dresser: no cord to run, no socket to look for.

You turn on the ceiling light because there's nothing else. Everything becomes equally bright, flat and a little cold, and the room feels like a waiting room.
Turn on Cora and switch off the ceiling light. Same room, same November evening, but now there's a warm glow at table height, and the darkness outside the window stays where it is.

No switch on the cord, no remote to hunt for in the sofa. Put a finger on the bird's head and it lights up. The same finger dims it.
The battery does the rest. Cora charges via USB in 1–3 hours and then glows for up to 50+ hours. Carry it to bed, set it on the windowsill, leave it in the kids' room overnight. No holes, no cords, no electrician.

Shiny chrome that mirrors the room. For the pared-back home.

A polished gold tone. The warmth of the glow carries into the body.

A light wood finish. The one that blends in on the bedside table.

A dark wood finish. The most contrast with the white belly.

The last light to go out, with one tap, without fumbling for the switch.

Dimmed to a soft glow. The battery lasts all night.

A warm light next to the screen when the ceiling light is off.

The first thing you turn on when you get home, instead of the ceiling light.

Most gifts get used once. Cora stays out and lights up every evening: for someone who just moved in, for someone who already has everything, for the child who wants their own light by the bed.
Nothing to install, nothing to get wrong. No bulb fitting to keep track of, no shade to match. You choose the finish, the rest is done. A Christmas gift, a housewarming present or just because, and if you take two, the price gets better: one for you, one to give away.
With a tap on the head. No switch, no remote: the bird's head is the button.
Yes. You dim it by touching the head, the same spot that turns it on.
Warm white 3000 K in warm mode, the same end of the scale as an incandescent bulb, nothing bluish. The tone can be switched up to 6000 K, a bright white. The warm mode is the one you'll live in during the evenings.
It depends on the brightness: 3–5 hours at 100%, 6–8 hours at 75%, 18–20 hours at 50% and 50+ hours at 25%. The 1,800 mAh battery charges via USB in 1–3 hours.
No. Just put it where you want it. No screws, no holes, no cord: no trace left behind, even in a rental.
No. The body is plastic (ABS and PC) with a printed wood finish, or a shiny silver or gold tone. The white belly is what lights up, and it lets the light through evenly.
Yes, a key ring for hanging is included in the box. It is not attached to the lamp.
No. Cora is controlled only by touching its head.
There isn't one: the LED is built in. Nothing to screw in, nothing to replace.
A gift that hit the mark

I move it around
I keep it on my desk in the evening and carry it to bed. No cord to think about. The silver finish mirrors the room nicely.
Nice, but the white mode
Nice lamp, and the warm light is exactly as warm as described. The white mode is unnecessarily harsh for us, we only use the warm one. I charge it about once a week.
Night light in the kids' room
Our four-year-old has it on her shelf, dimmed to a soft glow. She turns it on and off herself. The battery has lasted several nights between charges.
Went for gold
The gold version sits on the living room windowsill. It looks like an ornament during the day and glows beautifully in the evening. No cords in the window, that was the whole point.
